Footer

Footers are positioned at the bottom of a page or app and feature links to the primary areas of the product.

The footer is composed of three sections to cover the different needs of the applications or webpages.

footer-sections
  • The top section serves to include additional site-specific useful links of the application that couldn’t be displayed in the header. The links are displayed in columns and grouped by topic.
  • The medium section is an optional area that gives the possibility to teaser products, newsletter signups, trust elements etc.
  • The bottom section contains the mandatory minimal footer links for legal informations, contact, social media and language switcher.
footer-full

Use this footer for sites that have a large sitemap and require more room for links. A responsive test page for the footer is available at samples/footer.

footer-compact

Use this footer if there isn’t a need for lots of links. A responsive test page for the minimal footer is available at samples/header.
